Our Mission: Giving Back to Mexico

The promise

Every order you place here sends money back to Mexico. Not someday, not “when we’re profitable” — on every order, from day one.

We set aside a portion of each sale for charitable programs in Mexico: children’s education, food programs, and community support in the regions where devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe runs deepest.

Why Mexico

In December 1531, on a hill called Tepeyac outside Mexico City, the Virgin Mary appeared to an indigenous man named Juan Diego and asked for a church. The image she left on his tilma became the most beloved religious image in the Americas — and it belongs to Mexico first.

It felt wrong to build a business on that image without giving something back to the communities that have carried this devotion for five centuries. So we do.

How it works

  • You order. We print and ship through our production partner.
  • We set aside a fixed portion of every sale — before our own profit.
  • Donations are pooled and sent to vetted charitable organizations working in Mexico.

We publish updates on our giving in the store newsletter. If you would like to suggest an organization we should support, contact us — we are always listening.

What we ask of you

Nothing extra. Shop for the people you love, hang La Virgencita in your home, wear her with pride. The giving is built in.
